16–20 mph  from Crete
8:00am (may start earlier, depending on weather) Please contact one of the ride leaders to verify the start time for this ride.
Heritage Park, which is approximately 1/2 mile South of Crete-Monee HS on Sangamon. The high school is at the corner of Exchange and Sangamon.  Distance: 50-70 miles, stop for snacks.

Sat 15-18 mph  Ride
Meet 9:00 am, Breidert Green,  Old Plank Road Trail in Frankfort, distance: 20 to 50 miles
Often a faster group and a slower group that stays together or re-groups periodically.

Wednesday Club Ride  (East Side) (10-12 mph)  
6:30 pm from 116th St. and Ave L near Rowan Park in Chicago.  Rides til sunset.  

Wednesday  Fast Ride (20+ mph)  
Start at 6:00PM   Starting location: South side of the Wal-Mart parking lot, Cicero and Old Plank Road Trail, Matteson
Route for the 17-30 mile ride may change as decided by the group. Food/drink afterward.

Ride Start Times, Start Locations, and Routes
The start time, start location, and route for any particular ride is determined by the ride leader.   Ride details are advertised 30 to 60 days in advance of the ride in this forum and in the monthly newsletter, The Spokin' Word.   Please check this forum for last minute changes.

Some common start locations are:

West side parking lot, Cicero and Old Plank Road Trail, Matteson.  
Roughly 1/2 mile south of US Rte 30 on the west side of Cicero Ave.  
The location is sometimes called Old Target because a Target store was once located there.  The store moved across the street to the east side of Cicero Ave in 2007, but the rides still meet on the west side of Cicero.

Goodenow Grove Forest Preserve, Goodenow, IL
From the triple intersection of Goodenow Rd, Il Rte 1 (Dixie Hwy) and IL 394, south of Crete, north of Beecher, head east on Goodenow Rd 1.2 miles, then left (north) into the forest preserve for 0.8 mi.
